During the 2024/2025 Rotary year, the Rotary Club of Niš continued its long-standing commitment to improving health care and supporting the health institutions that need help the most.
One of the notable activities was the donation of a troponin analyzer to the Clinical Hospital Center (KBC) Kosovska Mitrovica. With this device, the institution is able to carry out diagnostics faster and more efficiently, especially for patients with suspected acute heart conditions.
Troponin is one of the most important biomarkers in diagnosing damage to the heart muscle, which is why the availability of suitable equipment is of great importance for the timely recognition and care of patients.
This donation once again showed that the work of the Rotary Club of Niš reaches beyond the boundaries of the local community. By supporting KBC Kosovska Mitrovica, the club contributed to improving health care for the people of this area and continued its tradition of investing in health care, which has been part of the club’s work ever since it was re-established.
Through projects like this, the Rotary Club of Niš strives to recognize the concrete needs of health institutions and, within its means, to provide support with lasting practical value for patients and health workers.
